Methodology

Every business on this site is real. Names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, categories, opening hours, service lists, ratings and review counts are taken from public Google Maps business listings, retrieved on 6 August 2026 via the DataForSEO Business Listings API.

Ordering is by Google review count, descending. That measures how much feedback a company has accumulated, not quality, and it favours large firms over small ones. A company with 4.9 from 30 reviews may well be better than one with 4.6 from 3,000.

We do not verify licences. No listing carries a licence number or a verified status, because we have not checked any against the Massachusetts boards. Every listing links to the four lookups instead.

We do not publish our own rating. There is no letter grade, no trust score and no ranking formula. The only rating shown is Google’s, labelled as Google’s.

We do not publish prices. We hold no verified pricing data, so no price bands, quotes or estimates appear anywhere on this site.

We do not publish response times or availability. We have no integration with any contractor’s scheduling system.

One listing is marked Featured in the sidebar of every page. It is placed there by the site owner and is not the result of any ranking, score or editorial judgement. It carries exactly the same Google-sourced facts as every other listing, and the same unverified licence status.

A featured placement never changes the order of the directory. The directory is ordered by Google review count and nothing else.

If a listing is wrong, out of date, or should not appear, it can be corrected or removed. Google Maps data is refreshed periodically, so a business that updates its own Google listing will flow through here.
